Intended to help you stay up-to-date with what’s happening in the city, as well as highlight the essential music of the week.

My sincerest apologies for not posting one of these last week—especially since seven days in the Milwaukee rap scene is equivalent to about a month anywhere else—but rest assured I’ve been working diligently to make sure the future of this newsletter is filled with the best possible content and coverage of the scene.

What Else?

It appears Chicken P is working with Gucci Mane’s 1017 Records in some capacity. The Milwaukee legend recently dropped off the TeeGlazedIt-shot video for his BussaBrick Vol.3 track A Reason & the iconic label helped promote it in a joint Instagram post. What could it all mean? I’ll be here to keep you updated.

The superstar Myaap is currently making her way across the country as a performer on Veeze’s highly acclaimed Ganger tour, but that hasn’t stopped her from steadily releasing visuals from her excellent new tape BIG MYAAP, NOT THE LIL ONE. In the past two weeks, Myaa has dropped dope mini-movies for 2 Easy, Sha’Carri, & Get Shit Crackin. Fingers crossed for All White Benz next.

I’ll be in Milwaukee from Wednesday, April 24th to Sunday, April 28th. I’m planning on getting a ton of interviews done and meeting as many people from around the scene as I can. If you’ll be around during that time, hit me up and we’ll get something done!
